Automate Tasks in Todoist with SaneBox’s Easy Integration

SaneBox integrates seamlessly with Todoist Premium to automatically convert recurring tasks in your emails into actionable items within your chosen Todoist projects.


Here’s How it Works:

  1. Choose Your Todoist Project: Decide where you want your tasks to appear in Todoist. You can create a new project or select an existing one.
  2. Get Your Project Email Address: Log in to Todoist.com, right-click on the desired project, and select “Email tasks to this project”. Copy the unique email address displayed (you’ll need part of it later).
  3. Set Up SaneFwd in SaneBox: Head to your SaneBox dashboard’s “Folders” section. Here, choose “DIY Custom Folder”. Create a descriptive name for your new SaneFwd folder, optionally including the related Todoist project name.
  4. Connect SaneBox with Todoist: Select “Todoist” from the service list. Paste the specific email address fragment you copied from Todoist (everything before “@todoist.net”). Click “Forward” to complete the integration.
  5. Train Your Emails: Now, the magic happens! Simply “train” emails containing your recurring tasks by moving them to the newly created SaneFwd for Todoist folder within your email client. SaneBox handles the rest, automatically forwarding those tasks to your chosen Todoist project.
