How SaneBox works when you turn on Gmailify in your Gmail

Using SaneBox with Gmailify: A Guide

This guide explains how to use SaneBox alongside Gmailify, which allows you to manage non-Gmail accounts within your Gmail app.

What are Gmailify and SaneBox?

  • Gmailify: Connects your non-Gmail accounts (e.g., Yahoo, Outlook) to Gmail, letting you enjoy Gmail’s features with your existing email addresses. Learn more.
  • SaneBox: Manages your email by sorting and filtering them based on your preferences.

Setting Up Gmailify (Android & iOS):

Android:

  1. Open Gmail app and tap the horizontal three-line menu.
  2. Select “Settings” and then “Link Account.”
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to add your non-Gmail account.

Using SaneBox with Gmailify:

  • With Gmailify active, SaneBox will continue filtering emails in your Inbox (unless you unlink the account).

Unlinking Gmailify (Android & iOS):

Android:

  1. Tap the linked Gmail account.
  2. Scroll down and tap “Unlink” next to the non-Gmail address.
  3. Choose to keep or delete copied emails (verify they exist in your non-Gmail account first).

iOS:

  1. Go to “Settings” and scroll down.
  2. Select the linked Gmail account and tap “Gmailify” to unlink the non-Gmail account.
  3. Choose to keep or delete imported messages (verify they exist in your non-Gmail account first).
