Unsubscribe from Unwanted SaneBox Folders in Outlook (Exchange)


Having trouble removing old @SaneBox folders from your Outlook inbox?


This can happen with Microsoft Exchange email accounts (like Office 365) using IMAP settings. Here’s how to unsubscribe from lingering SaneBox folders and prevent them from reappearing:


1. Access IMAP Folders:

  • Right-click your “Inbox” and select “IMAP Folders.”

2. Show Hidden Folders (Optional):

  • Click the “Query” button (if needed) to display all folders.

3. Unsubscribe from SaneBox Folders:

  • Select any unwanted “@SaneBox” folders.
  • Click the “Unsubscribe” button.


Done! These folders should no longer appear in your Outlook inbox.
