Ensuring SaneBox Works Seamlessly with PostBox


Your Emails Stay Secure:

SaneBox prioritizes data privacy. Your emails remain on your email host’s server throughout the SaneBox process – we never download or upload them.


Understanding Folder Visibility:

If you’re unable to see your new SaneBox IMAP folders (like @SaneLater), it’s likely due to subscription settings within PostBox.


Steps to Check Subscriptions:

  1. Right-click on your IMAP account in PostBox.
  2. Select “Subscribe.”
  3. Ensure a checkmark is next to each SaneBox folder you want to view.


Verifying IMAP Prefix Settings:

If the above doesn’t resolve the issue, check your IMAP prefix settings:


  1. Go to “Options” > “Accounts.”
  2. Click on your desired account and select “Advanced.”
  3. Verify the “IMAP server directory” is empty.
  4. Restart PostBox.


Note:

  • SaneBox signup analysis time may vary based on email account size and server speed.
  • We send a welcome email with setup instructions once SaneBox is ready.
