Gmail Specific: How do I archive in a Sane folder?

Archiving Emails in Gmail: A Quick Guide

What Does Archiving Mean?

Archiving in Gmail essentially removes all labels from an email, except for the “All Mail” label. This keeps it organized without cluttering your inbox.

How to Archive in Gmail:

  • From the Inbox: Hit the Archive button (or use the keyboard shortcut “Y”) to archive emails.

  • From Sane Folders: To archive emails in SaneLater or other Sane folders, follow these steps:

    1. Open the email.
    2. Click the “Remove label” button (or use the keyboard shortcut “Y”).

That’s it! Your email will be archived and removed from your inbox.
