Spark: A Guide to Using Spark With SaneBox

Get the Best of Both Worlds: Spark Mail with SaneBox

This guide shows you how to seamlessly integrate SaneBox with Spark Mail for a powerful email management experience.

Using Spark with SaneBox:

Here’s how to leverage SaneBox’s features within Spark:

1. Turning Off Smart Inbox (Optional):

If you prefer a simpler view, disable Spark’s Smart Inbox.

2. Training SaneBox in Spark:

Easily create and manage your SaneBox training sets directly from Spark.

3. Customizing Swipes for Faster Management:

Spark allows extensive customization, including swipe gestures for quick actions. We’ll focus on the “Move” option, used to move emails between your Inbox and SaneBox folders.

4. Spark for Gmail Users:

Use swipe actions to move emails efficiently:

  • Go to Settings > Personalization > Swipes.
  • Choose a swipe direction (e.g., Left Short).
  • Select “Move to” and choose your SaneBox email address.
  • Pick the desired SaneBox folder.

Note: If you initially see an empty SaneLater folder, remove and re-add your Gmail address to Spark. We’re working with Spark to resolve this.

Spark for Mac Users:

  • Favorite your SaneBox folders: Pin your SaneBox folders for easy access (see image).
  • Train SaneBox in Spark: Train SaneBox directly from Spark (see image).
