Signing Up and Logging In to SaneBox with Office 365
SaneBox uses a secure login process called OAuth to connect with your email provider. This guide will show you how to sign up and log in to SaneBox using your Office 365 account.
Signing Up:
- SaneBox automatically selects OAuth: You don’t need to worry about entering a password during signup.
- Click “Use My Office365 account”: This button will initiate the OAuth login process.

Follow Microsoft’s prompts: Enter your Office 365 email address and password when prompted by Microsoft.
- You may be directed to your organization’s login page if your account isn’t managed directly by Microsoft.
- Authorize SaneBox access: Click “Accept” to grant SaneBox permission to access your email.
- Complete signup: SaneBox will guide you through a brief introduction after successful login.
Logging In:
- Visit the SaneBox login page: Go to SaneBox login and click the “Office365 button”.

- You may be directed to your organization’s login page if your account isn’t managed directly by Microsoft.
Important: If you have multiple Microsoft accounts, select the “Work or school account” associated with your Office 365 email.
Tips:
- Save your login: Tell Microsoft to remember your login for faster access in the future.
- SaneBox works with multi-factor authentication: You’ll need to complete any additional verification steps required by Microsoft.
Adding Another Office 365 Account:
- Open separate browser windows: Using a guest or incognito window can help avoid login conflicts.
- Log in to your existing Office 365 account: Go to https://office.com and log in with the address already connected to SaneBox.
- Start adding an email in SaneBox: Open SaneBox in another window and click “Add Email”.
- Logout of your existing account: In the first browser window, log out of your existing Office 365 account from the Account Manager menu.
- Refresh and log in to the new account: In the first window, refresh the Outlook page and log in with the new address you want to add to SaneBox.
- Complete adding the email in SaneBox: Go back to the SaneBox window and complete the process using the “Office365” button.
