Creating a DIY (Do It Yourself) Folder

Take Control of Your Inbox with Custom Folders

Organize your emails like a pro! SaneBox lets you create custom training folders to filter specific types of emails.


Here’s how to create your own:
  1. Visit the Folders section in your SaneBox Dashboard .
  2. Click the “Create” button.
  3. Give your folder a descriptive name (avoid using existing Sane folder names).
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Done! Your new folder will appear within minutes.


Train Your Folder:

Move emails you want in this folder (from other Sane folders or your inbox). SaneBox will learn where to send future emails from those senders.


Bonus Features:
  • Rename your folder anytime within your email app.
  • Turn it into a forwarding folder: Want emails automatically sent elsewhere? Click the gear icon and toggle on “SaneFwd”. Note: Requires proper SMTP setup.


Automatic Archiving (Optional):

  • New folders automatically archive emails after 30 days.
    • You can adjust this or turn it off in your Features settings.
